Over time, it evolved into a lively fair for merchants and locals to pray for prosperity, “raking in” good fortune with ornate kumade bamboo rakes symbolizing wealth and success. Today, hundreds of stalls burst with colorful kumade, street food, lanterns, and autumn energy—perfect for community celebration and Insta-worthy moments!
